Linen Closets

Opening my linen closet and having it look so organized just makes my heart sing. There are very few clients who have perfect linen closets but I do know of two and admire these women for keeping it all together, God knows I can't, but today is the day. It's raining and my closet is a calling.
The first thing I did was to completely empty the closet. There amidst a pile of linens I decided what to keep and what was going to be stored in the attic. I had three extra duvets, so they went in a plastic resealable bag and placed in the attic section. I then went through all my sheets and got rid of any that look grimy or had a stain, (will use for rags.)I then sorted the beach towels and put in basket on the closet floor. I made space for my ironing board and iron and a small cup for water.I stored extra towels(I have another linen closet in the bathroom),shampoo, toothbrushes, facecloths, anything I made need for an overnight guest. I put my matching sheets in a basket on the top shelf along with the pillow cases. My gals tend to love the sheets they have on their bed so they just wash and put back on.The total time took me about half an hour.I also pitched anything I could no longer stand to look at, old hairdryers and heating pads and just junk that got tossed in there. So what do you think?
